The Ursuline Preparatory School, Wimbledon, has a strong and very clear ethos characterised by the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and, in particular, the lifelong commitment of the foundress, St. Angela Merici.

As an Ursuline School, we commit ourselves in the footsteps of St. Angela Merici, to Gospel Values, in the spirit of ‘Serviam’. We show care and concern for others and strive to achieve our personal best, looking to the future with confidence, keen to make a difference in the world.

We will promote Gospel values and seek to develop the spiritual and moral lives of our pupils through the example of St. Angela Merici. We are committed to ensuring that every girl and boy will be loved, cared for and believed in. This will create the fertile soil within which all children can flourish.
We will place equal value on the education of the heart, the mind and the soul, in the sure and certain knowledge that only through the equal development of all three can you truly become the person you were born to be; the best that you can be.
